For ghostwriting clients

how a book gets written.

Ghostwriting starts with a short application, so I know the book before we talk. Apply here, and the rest looks like this.

  1. Meet

A free 30-minute call about your idea, your reader, and what you want the book to do for you.

  2. Interview

Recorded conversations, in person or online, until I understand your story and how you tell it.

  3. Write

An outline you approve, then chapters delivered as they’re finished and revised with you until they’re right.

  4. Publish

Help choosing between traditional, hybrid, and self-publishing, then the pieces every finished book needs, from cover copy and metadata to a launch plan.

what to know before we get started.

Will anyone know you wrote my book?

Not unless you want them to. Ghostwriting is confidential by default. Credit, if any, is your call.

Who owns the manuscript?

You do. We can sign NDAs up front and make the agreement in writing so that the words, the copyright, and the decisions about what happens next are always yours.

Do you work with self-publishing authors?

Yes. I’ve worked on books published traditionally, through hybrid presses, and by the author, and I’ll help you choose the route that fits.

How long does a book take?

From concept through interviews to a solid draft, about three months, longer if the book is more involved. Roughly a month of that is interviews and two months is writing. Before the final, I’ll recommend an editor, so allow a little time for that too.

What if we’re not a fit?

That happens. If it does, I’ll say so on the first call, and point you toward what you need instead.

Let’s talk

Every book starts with a conversation.

Tell me about your project. Whether just starting out or late in the game, I’m here to help.
